Doctors:
Dr. Vipul A Patel, DMD
Dr. Patel graduated from Tufts University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Dr. Patel was a research associate at Harvard University studying oral cancer while publishing several research papers in prestigious scientific journals. Dr. Patel graduated the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine with a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
He completed his residency program at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, NY where he obtained extensive experience in all aspects of modern dental care which includes placing/restoring dental implants, third molar extractions, molar root canals, and cosmetic dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA), the Academy of General Dentistry and the Middlesex County Dental Society.
Continuing his ideal of excellence in dentistry, Dr Patel persists with continuing education courses on implants, root canals, and cosmetic dentistry. When he is not working, Dr. Patel likes to read, play basketball and has recently taken up golf.
Dr. Tae Chul Ho, DDS
Dr. Ho graduated from Baylor University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He then graduated from New York University College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS). Dr. Ho thereafter attended the St. Barnabas Hospital residency program where he practiced general dentistry ranging from oral surgery, periodontics and endodontics with a concentration on esthetics dentistry. Currently, Dr. Ho is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA) and the Middlesex County Dental Society.
Dr. Ho continues his pursuit of outstanding dentistry with continuing education classes. In his spare time he enjoys travelling and golf.
Hygenists:
Patty Eisner, RDH
Patty has been practicing dental hygiene for 24 years, the last 17 years with Dr. Tom Sullivan and now with Dr. Patel and Dr. Ho. She graduated from Milwaukee Area Technical College in 1984. In 1986, Patty completed an advanced instrumentation course at Madison Area Technical College in Wisconsin. She maintains her CPR certification for the healthcare provider through the American Heart Association. In 2008, she became certified to administer local anesthesia from the University of New Haven. Patty also takes continuing dental hygiene courses to maintain both her Wisconsin and Connecticut licenses.
Jeanette Coleman, RDH
Jeanette attended Tunxis Community College where she earned her Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) degree. Over the last 16 years, Jeanette has gained much experience in pediatric and periodontal practices. She has spent most of her career right here in our General Practice, previously with Dr. Tom Sullivan, now with Drs. Patel and Ho. She has recently achieved a certificate in Pain Control / Local Anesthesia at the University of New Haven. Jeanette takes continuing educations classes and is CPR certified. Jeanette is pleased to continue her long term care for her patients here at Waterview Dental Group.
